Ukrit Mongkolnavin: “They will find it difficult to remain in Thailand”

Ukrit Mongkolnavin, chairman of Thailand’s Independent National Rule of Law Commission (NRLC) and former Senate and Parliament President said yesterday on a local TV station, quote, “They will find it difficult to remain in Thailand.” On a Red Shirts TV station interview yesterday, Ukrit discussed the potential for judicial coup and independent unit coup in Thailand. Ukrit said the courts and the independent units were losing respect from the Thai people, with their rulings and judgments that most Thais know are politically motivated and not based on the rule of law. Asked what will happen, if the Thai people come to the point that they will not longer accept the rulings and judgments, and start revolting against those units and institutions, Urkit said, “They will find if difficult to remain in Thailand.”
