Thailand’s global class jewelry firm, Pranda, hit by plummeted Eurozone sales, shifts to recovering USA

Thailand’s global jewelry giant, Pranda, with 8 factories in 5 countries, says its export to Europe plummeted 29% on poor Euro Zone sales but recovering USA sees order picking up. The 29% Euro Zone drop, is being made up by Pranda’s aggressive move in ASEAN, resulting in an overall drop in sales of about 6% year on year, says Pranda. Together, a recovering USA and ASEAN, results in Pranda saying its income will likely be about the same as last year.  Pranda targets sales at about US$100 million this year. In ASEAN, Pranda is most active in Indonesia and Vietnam. (Source)
