Yingluck’s brainstorming sessions for solution to Thailand’s problems gets fresh international push as Tony Blair, UK’s former prime minister, and Kofi Annan, former UN head, have tentatively accepted a speaking engagement at a forum on the subject. Yingluck said such a forum would take place once of twice each month, and other world leader are being courted for the forum. Thailand is a greatly divided country, between democracy and the elite establishment, where most press, such as the Bangkok Post, is pro-elite establishment. The elite believe in keeping power with such independent units as the constitutional court, as it sees the judge as good people, and Thai politicians, belonging to the Thaksin camp, as bad people. This conflict between the so called good and bad people, have corrupted everything about Thailand, for political partisanship. To side is willing to let go of their objective and compromise, but have instead engaged in what has become known as the Thai “Cold War.” (Source)
