More murder charge levied on Abhisit and Suthep, this time murder of a boy

The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) today served Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and party MP Suthep Thaugsuban summonses requiring them to report to the agency on May 14 to acknowledge additional charges of murder and attempted murder of a boy, Kunakorn Srisuwan, in connection with the 2010 political violence, the DSI chief said on Wednesday. The new charges came after the Criminal Court ruled in two cases, finding the death of 14-year-old Kunakorn premeditated murder, and the wounding of a van driver Samon Maithong a case of attempted murder. Last year, the DSI charged Mr Abhisit and Mr Suthep with authorising the killing of anti-government red-shirt protesters by soldiers during the April-May 2010 violence in Bangkok. DSI chief Tarit Pengdit said the Democrat Party had asked DSI investigators to deliver the summons naming Mr Abhisit and Mr Suthep to the party headquarters (Source).
