PM Yingluck Shinawatra, said today that she has ordered her Deputy, Chalerm, to take care the Red Shirts protesting at the Constitutional Court. “We are concerned about security and we have asked the protesters to conduct a peaceful protest, because the protest impacts national security,” said Yingluck. About 500 to 1,000 Red Shirts have gathered at the Constitutional Court and have called for a big rally tomorrow, and while news is un-clear, the latest is that the protesters will take their protest across Thailand, to collect signatures against the court. Most neutral observer says the Constitutional Court have breached the separation of power between the branches, and is telling parliament what to do. About 310 MPs and Senators have rejected the court’s power, initially by not responding to the court’s demand that they explain themselves to the court. The government MPs are taking the case to the Thai people and is said to be interested in a signature drive against the court (Source).
