Job matchmaker, Jobstreet, says 50% of Thai workers “happy” because of work challenge

A jobs matchmaking website, Jobstreet.com, found that about 62% of Thais are not happy with their jobs and 30% said they want to change jobs, out of the un-happy condition, mainly because they feel the salary is too low. The 62% un-happiness stems from low salary, lack of clear work objectives and goals, work objectives and goals that does not fit the skills and poor relations with their boss. About 58% said the solution is to change jobs, and 37% said find happiness outside of work. Sector wise, entry level workers says salary is the main cause of un-happiness, while senior level, says the work is the main cause of un-happiness. About 50% of those that said they are happy with work said challenging job was the reason (Source).
